Hailey was a 4-year Starter for the Idaho State University softball team and helped lead the Bengals to 3 back-to-back conference championships, while also taking home conference player of the year in 2014. She graduated in 2015 with a degree in Sport Management.
After her college career, she played for the New Zealand National Team and continued coaching at the Division 1 level for Wichita State, and Saint Francis University, earning NCAA regional berths at both schools. She graduated with a master’s degree in Sport Management from Wichita State in 2018 and then went on to coach at Saint Francis through the shortened 2020 season. She also continued playing for New Zealand (dual citizenship), through the 2020 Olympic Trials.
Hailey started Hailey Breakwell Performance in 2020 and has grown it into a thriving business giving private lessons, running clinics and team workouts. She is a huge advocate for girls and women in sport and continues to support in any way she can. Through her business she is able to give back to not only girls in sport but youth sports as a whole. She is also a certified mental performance coach and passionate about empowering athletes through sport while giving back to the game that has given her so much.
